Last Friday the BMYS hosted a meeting of senior local dignitaries including the Federal Member for Goldstein Zoe Daniel MP, the Mayor of Bayside Cr. Fiona Stitfold, the CEO of Bayside Mick Cummins, Beckett Ward Bayside Cr. Clarke Martin and Ebden Ward Bayside Cr. Laurence Evans OAM.
We met to discuss the opportunities to seek federal funding for the repair of the main jetty with a design focused on creating opportunities for people with disabilities and elderly citizens to access the water including a transfer system and infrastructure to access the new facilities.
It was a very positive meeting and we greatly appreciate the genuine support of the BMYS and making the time to meet with us and hear about one of the many exciting projects planned for the future.
