A VHF Radio Operators course was held at BMYS on Sunday 30th April. This training session is the first in a training series to be conducted over the autumn / winter months of the year.
The VHF Radio training was conducted by Ian Fox from Peninsula Boat Training. He was an expert in the topic and ran a very interesting session leading to attendees gaining their VHF Radio Operators license.
There were 12 attendees for the training.
The course was very practical giving attendees the practical skills to operate a VHF radio in a range of circumstances.
