Working Bee 2021

Working Bee @ BMYS Sunday 31^st January

The first working bee in 18 months saw record attendances completing a comprehensive range of maintenance work and many club improvements for all members to enjoy.

To name a few:

• New roll out turf to the picnic area.
• New mulch to the children's playground.
• New bench seating to the member's retreat.
• New plants to the driveway gardens.
• Extensive weeding, trimming, and painting throughout the Club grounds.
• Cleaning of the BBQ's, the rangehood, cabinets, light fittings and ceiling.
• New handrails fitted to the main jetty.
• Repairing Clubhouse roof leaks.
• Re-fit the fender to the No.4 jetty.
• Install new light fittings to Member’s lounge.

And the list goes on.

A huge thank you to all members, their partners and families for making the day a wonderful success. It was tremendous to see so many new members and long-term members working together enjoying each other's company and creating new friendships.

Sincere thanks to the Site Committee for organising a great event and a huge thank you to the Social Committee for hosting morning tea and lunch that was greatly appreciated by the large crowd.
