The Club recently completed a very successful 2024 Gala Fishing Competition, after the annual event was cancelled in 2023 due to poor weather.
The weather was much kinder this year, with generally good ‘snapper’ weather prevailing, although strong winds led to the cancellation of fishing on Friday, the 8th. Having fishing also on Friday was an innovation in 2024.
Many fantastic prizes were on offer for the event, which was very generously supported on this occasion by the Club's major sponsors, including Shimano, Easy Tow Trailers, Engel, Blue Nautilus Marine, All Commercial Real Estate, All Residential Real Estate, Moose Marine, Lone Star Marine, GME, Streaker Marine, Salt Guide, Compleat Angler Bentleigh and JV Marine World.
