BMYS Annual Gala Fishing Competition Friday / Saturday / Sunday 8th - 10th November

Come help celebrate the biggest event on the club's calendar

 Over $17,500 worth of prizes, raffles and giveaways including:

• A Quintrex 300 Wanderer boat and 4hp motor valued at $5400
• A Sionyx D1 Night Vision camera donated by Blue Nautilus Marine and installed by Moose Marine valued at over $4000

Registration

• Registration and Payments
• Booking for this event is online only.
• Cut off time for Bookings is no later than Midnight Wednesday 6th November 2024.
• No late registrations accepted. If you struggle with online registrations, please print the registration form and have it back to BMYS office as per  the above detailed cut-off date.
• Early bird bookings taken prior to Midnight Wednesday 30th October will go into the draw for a Fishing experience for two onboard Peter “Fergy” Ferguson boat for the day valued at $800.
• Entry is $20 per entrant. 16 and under are free
• The captain to arrange a single lump sum payment for himself and all those aboard his boat.
• All payments for entry must be received prior to the event. If you haven’t paid before launching, you will not be eligible for any prizes.
• Each entrant will receive 1 ticket in the Stessel boat and motor package valued at $4500. This will be drawn at the presentation lunch on Sunday.
• Refunds are available for the entry fee only should the fishing competition be cancelled in its entirety.

Booking for this event is online only. Payments must be received prior to event to confirm registration. No late payments. Captain of the boat is responsible for payment of all the crew.

Cut-off time for Bookings is no later than Midnight on Wednesday 6th November 2024.

• Friday Night Dinner is to be booked and paid for at the club.
• Multiple tickets can be added in the same booking.
• Add ALL required tickets BEFORE continuing to payments.

Fishing Rules and Restrictions for Competition

• All fish need to be at least 300mm to be eligible
• General fishing rules are as per BMYS's documented competition rules, which are available on the Club website or at the weigh station and also included here under Brochures and Downloads.
• All boats are to be launched from BMYS unless prior permission is given from the Fishing Director.
• Please read the Gala Comp 2024 Fact Sheet for full details on the event, including catering.

The BMYS will be open to competition participants only from 11am Friday 8^th November to 2pm Sunday 10^th November. You must be registered for the event to access the club during these times.
