BMYS celebrated its annual Sail Past and official opening of the Club‚'s 2019/2020 boating season on Saturday 12th October. It was a particularly special event this year as the Club is also celebrating its 60th Anniversary over the 12th/13th October weekend.
As well as the Sail Past and blessing of the Club‚'s fleet the day featured lots of activities for children, a lovely luncheon prepared by chef Armin and the 4-piece Fluke Band.
Awards included:
Best dressed boats (Richard Devlin 1st; Ian Whiteside 2nd; and Gary Viner 3rd place)
Best dressed adults (Eddie Zahra and Val Viner)
Sail Past lucky entry prize (free membership for 2020/2021 ‚Rod Billings)
Special thanks to Club Manager Anthony and Club staff for all their great work that contributed to the overall success of the day.
