BMYS conducted the 2019 Children‚'s Christmas Party last Sunday (1/12). The day started with Michael the balloon artist making all sorts of creative balloon art. Then the children were treated to Rose the face painter ‚Äì her skills were amazing.
More fun was provided by The Mushrooms with music, dancing and competitions for the children.
Kevin was busy making fairy floss and handing out ice-creams all afternoon for the kids.
At 2.30 Santa arrived. There were cheers and screams of excitement with his arrival with Santa handing out the gifts provided by the families attending.
The day was supported by many families coming together and having a BBQ or picnic and enjoying this fun day.
The Kids Christmas Party has been a highlight on our calendar for many years. Thanks to Sandra, John Humphris and Percy who pitched in to make it a great day and to Tony Huxham for taking pics.
A big thank you to Kevin Moore who has organised and run this event for over 15 years.
Kevin recently received a very well-deserved award of appreciation from BMYS for the many years of service running the Kids Christmas Party at the Club.
