Presentation Night 2023 - 2024

Award winners, partners, and guests enjoyed a great night at the Club’s annual Presentation Awards night on Wednesday 18th September.

The night is always an important calendar event, giving everyone in the room a great reason to celebrate all things good about BMYS and recognise the great milestones and wins members achieved over the past year. Guests also included some of the Club's major sponsors who participated in presenting various awards.

An award of a Club Life Membership to Brian Wright.

Brian Wright joined BMYS more than 20 years ago and he was encouraged by Club legends Ian Jones and Brian McNaughton to represent the club as the delegate for VRFISH the peak body for Victorian anglers. As a keen angler, he took up this post for many years and also served on the Victorian Fisheries Roundtable meetings which had a strong focus on the improvement of our fisheries. Brian was also a member of the BMYS Boating Committee before taking on his current role as the 'club curator' of lawns and our gardens. This is what happens when you have a long cricketing career including turf management!
