The first working bee in 18 months saw record attendances completing a comprehensive range of maintenance work and many club improvements for all members to enjoy.
To name a few:
New roll out turf to the picnic area.
New mulch to the children's playground.
New bench seating to the member's retreat.
New plants to the driveway gardens.
Extensive weeding, trimming, and painting throughout the Club grounds.
Cleaning of the BBQ's, the rangehood, cabinets, light fittings and ceiling.
New handrails fitted to the main jetty.
Repairing Clubhouse roof leaks.
Re-fit the fender to the No.4 jetty.
Install new light fittings to Member‚'s lounge.
And the list goes on.
A huge thank you to all members, their partners and families for making the day a wonderful success. It was tremendous to see so many new members and long-term members working together enjoying each other's company and creating new friendships.
Sincere thanks to the Site Committee for organising a great event and a huge thank you to the Social Committee for hosting morning tea and lunch that was greatly appreciated by the large crowd.
